Agrobiológica Sustentabilidade opens vacancies for the Trainee Program 2024

Applications will take place between May 10 and 17, 2024. The vacancies are in the commercial and market development areas

Agrobiológica Sustentabilidade, a company of Crop Care, a holding controlled by Lavoro Limited, has open applications for the 2024 Trainee Program. The vacancies are in the commercial area. Applications will be accepted until May 17, 2024 and can be made through the official program website.
“We’re looking for recent graduates or those in the final year of their degree who seek to acquire knowledge in the ever-expanding biological inputs sector. At Agrobiológica, these young talents will have the opportunity to develop professionally in a large company, even those who are still at university. The vacancies are for several states, in the Southeast, Midwest and South regions,” says Rafael Garcia, founder and CEO of Agrobiológica.

In order to partake in the 2024 Trainee Program, candidates must meet certain prerequisites, such as having a degree in Agronomy completed at the end of 2023 or being in the last period of their degree (graduating up to Dec/24), availability to travel or work in another city, and an active National Driver’s License (CNH) in category B. There are six stages to the process: application, interviews with the Human Resources department and area managers, a personal presentation video, dynamics and, finally, hiring.

“Agribusiness is one of the fastest growing productive sectors in the country, and Agrobiológica follows this rhythm. We are looking for new talent to join our team at this time of expansion. The program is already a tradition at Agrobiológica and is considered a great success. In the last year, we hired ten professionals and, at the end of the six-month internship period, all of them were hired and became part of the team permanently,” says Rafael Garcia.

Agrobiológica’s expansion

Last year, Agrobiológica Sustentabilidade, one of the country’s leading organic players, opened the Johanna Döbereiner Advanced Research Center, focused on the development of bio-inputs. The research center has 1,800 m² and 35 rooms for different activities, such as incubation, insect breeding and molecular analysis for the development of new formulas. It is part of the manufacturing complex in Itápolis, in the countryside of São Paulo, which will be Brazil’s largest bio-input plant by 2025.

The holding company is investing around BRL 100 million in expanding and modernizing this site. With this expansion, the goal is to more than double the company’s production capacity, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing complex capable of launching 20 new products for the next production cycles.

“We will continue to support Latin American farmers, offering solutions designed for each crop and its specificities, paving the way for the future of agriculture through cutting-edge technology and innovation,” says Marcelo Pessanha, CEO of Crop Care.
